Our double en-suite room. Being at the end of the building away from the bar, the en-suite provides a quiet and cosy space to relax with leather sofa, T.V. tea and coffee comfort tray and comfy double bed. There is a WiFi booster in this room making an ideal room to sit an complete any out-standing office work you may not be able to avoid whilst on your stay.
At the rear of the building is again a quiet and cosy double. It has a substantial and private shower room/dressing room associated to it just along the corridor. Although there are no hot drink facilities in this room – there is always access to a kettle, cups, tea and coffee with the boss in the kitchen !!!
The TWIN – or hobbit room as we call it –affectionately named because of its very low ceilings. This centuries old building has charm and character in abundance but mind your head !! Being away from the main bar this quiet room has a T.V. and two single comfy beds. In an adjoining corridor Room three also has a private shower room/bathroom.
A unique experience. Sarah’s husband picked us up when the National Express bus dropped us up. He also arranged for our bags to be taken up to our room. Sarah herself is a super host. The room was excellent and located above the pub made it very fun. We were able to meet some of the local people who visit the Whistling Badger regularly.
This is a wonderful place to stay to explore this beautiful region. The hospitality was fabulous and nothing was too difficult for our excellent host. We would highly recommend this venue.
